We will present a simple step-by-step guide to creating your own backyard (or public) pollinator haven. You’ll learn about common pollinators in the area, which native plants support them best, and how to use the Somerville Pollinator Action Plan to design your own garden.

Tues March 3

12 - 1:30PM

We will give an in-person presentation to the NRC about the importance of an ecologically-friendly spring “clean up” as a means for protecting our critical pollinator species.

Late March

7 - 8:30PM

We will give a presentation online to the community garden members of Kennedy Garden in Boston highlighting key pollinator species, how to create habitat in a garden, wise-watering tips, and the importance of community-building as part of a gardening structure.
