On February 11, 2026, our team gave a talk on creating backyard (or public) pollinator habitat. We spoke about common pollinators in the area, which native plants support them best, and how to use the Somerville Pollinator Action Plan to design your own garden.

Tues March 3

We will give an in-person presentation to the NRC about the importance of protecting and supporting local pollinator species, through ecologically sustainable gardening techniques. Our talk will include information on pollinators, eco-friendly spring and fall garden clean up, and native plant use in the landscape.

Late March

7 - 8:30PM

We will give a presentation online to the community garden members of Kennedy Garden in Boston highlighting key pollinator species, how to create habitat in a garden, wise-watering tips, and the importance of community-building as part of a gardening structure.
